Welcome
My name is Rebecca J. Gomez, and I am a children's book author, illustrator, and poet. I believe in nurturing children's creativity and sense of wonder and giving them stories that will help them navigate this wide, wonderful, sometimes overwhelming world. I write poetry, picture books, and novels in verse for children and children at heart.
I also illustrate, though I am a bit of a late bloomer as an illustrator. My first illustrated book (which I also wrote) is a middle grade novel in verse titled Mari in the Margins.
